The sunny terrace on which Flims is located lies at about 1100 m above the Upper Rhine valley and is part of the sport and leisure destination called the 'Alpine Arena - Flims Laax Falera'.
Flims is also famous for the beautiful Lake Cauma which tempts you to take a refreshing leap into its crystal clear waters, or go for a romantic stroll. Flims itself is a small holiday resort with excellent shopping and a well-developed infrastructure. Cosy restaurants, speciality pubs, bars and night-clubs ensure that visitors will be entertained and enjoy themselves.
Flims also has plenty for people who are interested in culture or in learning new things. This upland area of Graubünden is rich in art treasures and examples of its distinctive cultural heritage. In addition to the sacred art in churches and chapels, there are magnificent town houses and farmhouses, idyllic village squares and museums full of interesting exhibits.
